New York Computer Lemon Laws
Only a few states have specific computer lemon laws, however the national lemon law (Magnuson Moss Warranty Act) covers almost all consumer products, including computers purchased in New York, as long as the product costs more than $25 and it is intended primarily for consumer-type use. This applies so long as you bought the computer new and it came with a written warranty. Though not specifically a New York computer lemon law, this law does protect consumers who have purchased computers in New York.
